I'm a windows down in the car singin', animal obsessed, fall bonfires and long laughter-filled reminiscing with family kinda girl. And to top it off, it usually doesn’t take much convincing for me to do or try something as I want to see and experience everything I can in this life. I love listening to people's stories, and finding out why they are the way that they are. I like crazy travel stories and being reminded that the most memorable times are when things don't go according to plan.

Hey, I'm Sydney Mae! I'm really grateful that you decided to creep around on me and get to know me! I'm an Indiana based Photographer who specializes in Portraits and Couples. I know traditionally photographers are supposed to pick one niche but I like to think I'm pretty good at both. I live in a small one stop light town called Oolitic, did you know that our Limestone from the queries has been used all over the world and even in the Empire State Building?

Art is in my blood, I'm pretty sure I came out of the womb singing or maybe that was crying depending on who you ask. I've been performing backyard concerts for all of my neighbors since I could form sounds, and I joined all the school choirs and even went to Europe as an Ambassador of Music. My dad taught me how to use my first film camera, a Minolta x700, which was his first camera while he was in the Air Force.
In 2015, I finally got my first DSLR; after using film & point-and-shoot for years, I started looking at doing photography more often in the free time I had. Since then, I have watched my dream unfold right before my eyes. I’m passionate about moments, and I believe that photographs are a timeless way to hold onto the memories we never want to forget. Photographs tell a narrative of our lives, from the small in-between moments to the big life-changing ones – like your wedding day.

I've been able to capture so many smiles, giggles, families, and couples and have opportunities that I never thought I'd get in the last few years, and it makes me ecstatic! I've also watched myself grow so much. I'm constantly learning and adapting from and for you all. It's safe to say that almost all of you who I have had the opportunity to photograph have turned into friends, and I couldn't be more happier!
I graduated with a degree in photography and design in 2022. During college, I received many opportunities that helped me grow as a photographer. I have worked in bridal, was a bride, and won three national photography awards from the American Advertising Association. I love what I do, and I want to continue telling stories and helping everyone feel comfortable in their own skin.
